Modern technology has started to revolutionise the way businesses operate, in future technology will offer new ways to deliver and do business. This workshop is designed to cover new ways to market, promote and sell your services or products. We focus on three potential options to achieve this, these are:

1.    Shopify

2.    Facebook

3.    Instagram

Shopify- was started in 2006, has 800,000 active e-commerce stores in 175 countries and has processed over £100 billion’s worth of sales. Shopify offers online retailers a suite of services including payments, marketing, shipping and customer engagement tools to simplify the process of running an online store for small merchants.

Shopify offers:

·         Shopifys own payment providerto accept credit card payments, which is very easy to use

·         Growth opportunities with Shopifys sales channels and an enterprise plan for merchants selling in high volume who want to decrease transaction fees

·         A Shopify blogthat has guides and articles about running your store and connecting with your customers

Benefits from using Shopify include:

1.    Quick and easy to set up and use, meaning very little technical skills required.

Its like a simplified version of Facebook, with an emphasis on mobile use and visual sharing.
