Projects & Partnerships

Fundraising
Sidcup Partners Ltd – Big Lottery Fund 2021. SP is an organisation that manages the local Business Improvement District that formed in late 2016. We secured two Lottery grants for them, the latest in 2021 for £8,300 to develop an environmental project in conjunction with other Partners.
Evergreen Care UK – 2022. We secured £100,000 of funding over three years from a large charitable trust for their work supporting vulnerable elderly people. We have raised over £213,000 in funding for them to date with more in the pipeline.
Bexley Accessible Transport Scheme – Social Enterprise Investment Fund & other funders 2013 – £340,000 in funding secured. We successfully bid for capital funding for this organisation from the funding agency Social Investment Business to enable them to purchase new vehicles and associated equipment.
West Somerset Quakers – capital funding applications for 2013-14 – £750,000 in funding accessed by both CNT and WSQ for this project. We worked on a capital funding application for a faith organisation to develop its Meeting House into a more community focused building.
Voluntary Action Lewisham – 2007. We wrote a bid to the BASIS fund strand of the Big Lottery. The bid was for funding for a borough wide information, advice and guidance project and was successful in securing funding of £475,000 for the project.
Consultancy
Jimmy Choo Fashion Academy – 2022 and ongoing. We are providing some consultancy services to the Academy in terms of fashion business development support and fundraising.
Bridge Wellbeing – 2015 to date. We continue to provide business support and development consultancy to Bridge, based in South East London.
Bexley Business Support Programme – 2022 to date. We are currently delivering a government funded business support strand for this project which involves working with up to 90 businesses and includes other partners like, Bexley Council, The British Library, Federation of Small Businesses and others.
Ixion – 2013-14. CNT worked with Ixion, one of Britain’s leading social enterprises and part of the University of East Anglia group, we were their advisers on social enterprise and worked to develop several social enterprise projects. We also produced a European funding development strategy for them and a guide for people who want to start a business.
SE London Chamber of Commerce – 2015-2017. CNT worked with the Chamber to successfully raise funding to develop its social enterprise network and support the development of its other services.
Training/Coaching
Swan Housing – 2019. SH is a large housing association with properties in East London and Essex. CNT developed a training programme for people who wanted to start their own businesses and delivered it to SH tenants in Essex.
Innovision – 2014. A large health services organisation, we ran a seminar on funding diversification and health and social care policy
Fundraising Training – 2010. CNT Associates provided a training and advice seminar on funding for community and voluntary sector organisations for front-line housing officers working for Lewisham Homes and for SMEs.
Start Up Bromley/Start Up Greenwich/GLL – 2021-22. We are continuing to deliver a range of training and coaching for GLL and the other partners in three London Borough’s in areas including funding support/how to write a funding application and general business coaching
Creative Process – 2016. We ran a range of training on education funding, social enterprise development and volunteering with this large digital apprenticeship organisation.
